PURPOSE: To facilitate fabrication of the gate of a motor truck by forming a fitting part, which is to fit the top and bottom parts of wood board, at the top and bottom parts of the gate panel constituting the rear body gate of the truck.
CONSTITUTION: The bottom 5a of a gate panel 5 of gate G is welded fast to a movable piece 2b of a hinge 2 at its side part situated outside the car body while the bottom 3b of the lower rail 3, to the movable piece at its other side face on the rear body side. The top 3a of lower rail 3 is welded fast to the rear surface of the bottom 5a of gate panel 4, and the lower rail 3, the bottom 5a of gate panel 5 and the movable piece 2b constitute a box part 10 with which the bottom 6 of wood board 6 shall be coupled. The top 5b of the gate panel 5 is welded fast to the bottom 4a of the upper rail 4, and the bottom 4a of the upper rail 4 and the top 5b of the gate panel 5 constitute a fitting part 11 in which the top 6a the wood board 6 shall be inserted and held.
