Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable high-frequency switching by feeding electric charge charged in the electrostatic capacity between a gate and the source back to an input DC power source, and reducing power dissipation.
CONSTITUTION: The title gate driving circuit has an input DC power source 11, and first and second switching means which perform on-off operation interchangeably. And an inductance element 16 and a capacitor 17 are connected for storing energy once and feeding it back to the input DC power source 11 in synchronization with the first and second switching means, and the gate is driven by the voltage produced between the two terminals of a first or second switching device 12 or 14.
