A flow control gate has a door body 2 forming four sides of an upper part, both sides and a bottom as a watertight structure, and is arranged in water for maintaining water tightness between upper watertight rubber 3a and an upper door stop 1b in full closure and releasing the water tightness between the upper watertight rubber 3a and the upper door stop 1b in opening. A plurality of horizontal plate-like members 4 are arranged at installation pitches of the door stop height H or lower in the vertical direction of the door body 2 on a downstream side skin plate 2a of the door body 2. Since the separation of the water flow can be effectively prevented by the plurality of horizontal plate-like members arranged in the door body, the pressure is not unstably changed when the water flow sticks again, and the cavitation and the vibration are not induced.
