PURPOSE: To provide a gate fence of light weight, whose hollow part can be utilized as a housing chamber as necessary, by forming a frame body with vertical stiles and lateral stiles, and installing a front side panel and a rear side panel on the front surface and the rear surface, so as to form a hollow.
CONSTITUTION: A middle stile 2c is erected between lateral stiles 2b at the upper side and the lower side, which are erected between vertical stiles 2a and 2a provided on both sides of a frame body 1, and a solar battery panel is installed on the upper end surface of the lateral stile 2b. On the front surface and the rear surface of the frame body 1, panels 4 and 5 at the front side and the rear side are provided so as to from a hollow gate fence main body 6. In this case, a door plate 7, a post mouthpiece 8, and a door phone 9 are provided on the front side panel 4, while an outlet port 10 of mails is provided on the rear side panel 5. Furthermore, a mail housing box 11 is installed on the rear side of the front side panel 4, and it is housed in the hollow of the gate fence main body 6. The side walls of the main body 6 are formed of the vertical stiles 2a, and the power from the solar battery panel formed on the top surface is stored in a battery 12 on the lateral stile 2b, and the power is utilized as the power source of the door phone 9.
