To obtain a finger being light in weight and having little sustaining deformation, by a construction wherein a shaft body and the finger are made hollow inside and a cooling medium is made to flow through hollow parts formed therein.
A gate 40 is made up of a finger 41 and a shaft body 45. The finger 41 is constructed of a square tube 41 of which one end is closed, and it is equipped with a path 54 for supplying cooling water from the end part opposite to the closed side and with a path 55 for return water and equipped inside with a partition 42 partitioning the paths 54 and 55 of the cooling water above and below and being provided in the center horizontally, while it has a prescribed space S making the cooling water flow from the path 54 to the path 55, in the fore end part thereof. In the shaft body 45, a water supply port 50 and a water discharge port 60 are formed in the end face and connected to the water supply path and the return water path respectively, while a partition 48 partitioning the supply path 52 of the cooling water and the path 57 of the return water above and below is provided in the center inside the body. Besides, an opening 53 for the supply water path is provided below the center of the lateral wall on the finger 41 side of the body and an opening 56 for the return water path is provided above the center of the lateral wall.
