PURPOSE: To easily remove and replace a gate insert by a tool such as a screwdriver or the like by utilizing a flange at the time of damaging the insert by forming a front part of the insert detachably provided at a front end of a nozzle in a tapered elastic part, and providing a flange on its outer surface.
CONSTITUTION: A rear part 70 of a gate insert 68 is received by a seat 78 of a nozzle 10, and the insert 68 has an annular removable flange 80 protruding outward in an air gap 36. A front part 72 has a tapered outer surface 82, which corresponds to an inward tapered inner surface 84 of an opening 38 for receiving the surface 82 via a cavity plate 14. A mold is densely closed along a parting line 90, opened along a line 98, and a cavity plate 18 is separated from a support plate 16. Then, the part 72 of the insert 68 is exposed. And, the insert 68 can be easily drawn from the seat 78 by easily turning from the seat 78 or inserting other suitable tool between a nozzle front end 24 and the flange 80.
