Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gate valve enabling a workpiece to be transferred between liquid tanks without being exposed into the atmospheric air.
CONSTITUTION: A gate valve is provided with an outer case 14; a rotor 15 provided in the state of being rotated with the outer peripheral surface in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the outer case 14; a workpiece inlet 16 and a workpiece outlet 17 opened at the wall of the outer case 14; and a workpiece charging recessed hole 18 provided at the rotor 15 in the state of being opened in correspondence with the workpiece inlet-outlet 16, 17 at the rotating time.
