Abstract:
To increase efficiency in collecting data by a mobile gateway device.SOLUTION: A gateway device comprises: a call up unit that transmits, to a plurality of sensor nodes, a call up message including a counter value as a condition for determining whether or not a response is needed; and a data collection unit that determines, on the basis of information on a distance in kilometers from a reference point to the sensor nodes and a distance from the location of the gateway device to the sensor nodes, an order in which to collect data from sensor nodes that responded to the call up message, and collects the data. Further the gateway device inhibits, among the plurality of sensor nodes, a sensor node that successfully transmitted the data, from responding to a call up message including a counter value that is the same as one used when the sensor node transmitted the data thereby collecting data from the plurality of sensor nodes in order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
