Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuation of a voice phone when a PGW detects that a PCRF gets out of order.SOLUTION: Session management information storing information on each session controlled by a PGW is provided in the PGW of EPC of LTE. When a failure in a policy/accounting control device is detected, the session management information is referred to; the session during a call is maintained; a call state is monitored; and the session is released after the completion of the call.
