Abstract:
To provide a double woven fabric whose back side layer is formed from a gauze and to whose back side layer the air permeability and moisture- absorbing property of the gauze itself and further a good touch characteristic are imparted.
This gauze-backed double woven fabric 5 comprising the front side layer 1 having a proper weave system and the back side layer 2 formed from the gauze is characterized by applying a raising treatment 8 to the gauze of the back side layer 2.
