To reduce a feeling of discomfort given to a driver by producing stepped up-shift feeling according to magnitude of acceleration feeling, in a drive traveling scene by selection of a manual gear change mode.SOLUTION: A shift control device includes a variator (4) and a shift controller (800). The shift controller (800) has a flexible manual gear change control portion (803) performing gear change ratio control for changing a gear change ratio of the variator 4 to a target input rotating speed having a prescribed rotation step, to an input rotating speed of the variator 4 in a shift request operation, on the basis of the shift request operation by the driver not by a predetermined plurality of fixed gear change ratios, when the manual gear change mode is selected. The flexible manual change gear control portion (803) sets a rotation step ΔNup of an input rotating speed to be lowered by up-shift to be a larger value in accordance with increase of a vehicle acceleration Xg, when the driver performs a shift-up request operation during drive traveling by selecting "manual gear change mode".SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
