To provide a gear design support method capable of supporting a gear design with high accuracy and ease by confirming whether a gear mechanism system has a problem and eliminating a process to experimentally manufacture a gear drive system and evaluate the gear system.
A gear design support method comprises the procedures: (S1) to input a gear specification and a drive condition through a basic input process; (S2) to input a gear receiver clearance, rigidity and viscosity through a gear bearing information input process; (S3) to configure an analysis condition; (S4) to perform mathematization of four components through a deflection amount calculation process; (S5) to calculate an equation of motion through an equation of motion calculation process; (S6 and 7) to perform differential equation analysis through a time series calculation process; and (S8) to output an analysis result.
