Abstract:
To further prevent a lubricant L from being leaked to an outside of a gearbox 3 in a gear device 1 for railway vehicle in which a first bearing lid 8a including a first bearing mounting part 8a1 to which a first bearing 7a supporting a gear shaft 41 is internally fitted and a first lid body 8a2 provided in a side end of the first bearing mounting part 8a1 is mounted to a first sidewall 31 of the gearbox 3, an oil thrower member 9 constituting a labyrinth seal within the first lid body 8a2 is externally fitted to the gear shaft 41, a partition wall extending so as to be spread over a first partition wall 3c and a second partition wall is provided in a lower part inside of the gearbox 3, a fourth oil storage part which is partitioned from a first oil storage part and communicates a second oil storage part and a third oil storage part is defined between the partition wall and the first sidewall 31, and an oil guide hole 10 is formed in a lower part of the first bearing mounting part 8a1.SOLUTION: A return hole 31a communicating an oil guide hole 10 and a fourth oil storage part is formed in a portion of a first sidewall 31 in contact with a lower portion of an outer peripheral surface of the first bearing mounting part 8a1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
