Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain smooth engagement between a pinion and a face gear due to grease with simple structure, so as to prevent the postures of the pinion and face gear from being limited.SOLUTION: A gear device includes: a pinion 1 that has a tooth part 3 with at least two strips formed into a spiral shape around a rotational shaft core X, and is supported rotatably forward and backward; a face gear 2 that has a plurality of teeth parts 5 engaged with the pinion 1, and is supported rotatably reciprocatively within a constant angular range; and a wall surface 6 that is formed so that its height is made higher than the plurality of tooth parts 5 on at least one end side in the array direction of the plurality of tooth parts 5.
