Abstract:
To provide a gear grinding tool and a method of using this gear grinding tool, extending a tool service life, while continuously performing rough processing and finish processing by a single tool.
The gear grinding tool 10 is a tool having a spiral strip 72 carved therein, and grinding faces 70 and 71 on a surface of the spiral strip 72. and performing tooth surface grinding of a gear 16 as a workpiece by the grinding faces 70 and 71. A rough grinding face 74 for the rough processing is arranged on the grinding face 70 of this gear grinding tool 10, and the rough grinding face 74 for the rough processing is arranged on a grinding face 71, and a molding line 76 for the finish processing is arranged on the rough grinding face 74.
