To form an improved gear mechanism relative to drive of a heald shaft.
The gear mechanism 6, 6a, 6b, 6c for a driving system of a heald shaft 1 comprises an input shaft 7, 7b, 7c and an output shaft 5, 5b, 5c. The gear mechanism 6, 6a, 6b, 6c generates a differential angle overlapped with a rotating angle causing vibration change according to the rotating angle between the input shaft 7, 7b, 7c and the output shaft 5, 5b, 5c. This vibration change can be discriminated from coordinate vibration by forming a planetary gear 11a, 12a, 13a of the gear mechanism 6a, 6b, 6c in a non-circular shape. According to this, an optional motion is substantially attained by a simply manufacturable, compact structure system by small gear mechanism load and bearing load relative to the motion of the heald shaft 1.
