Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear mold that enables stable mass production of particularly a helical gear and a crowned gear by preventing damage to a tooth profile, a decrease in product precision, and mold life shortening.SOLUTION: A gear mold 1 of the present invention includes the same number of dies 2 of the same shape as the number Gm of planned gear teeth. The die has a tooth valley molding part 2v that is protruded in a central direction so as to mold a tooth valley Gv of a planned gear G, and tooth crest molding parts 2m and 2m that are formed on both skirt parts on one side and the other side in a circumferential direction centering on the tooth valley molding part 2v so as to mold a top surface of a gear crest Gm of the planned gear G by circumferentially splitting it in two, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
