Abstract:
To reduce the amount of deformation by forming a finite angle gear by machining a heat-treated circular gear.
This method of manufacturing a gear comprises the steps of performing heat treatment in the state of a circular gear 1 and machining the circular gear 1 so as to provided a finite angle gear 3. Thus, the amount of deformation of each teeth of the finite angle gear 3 can be reduced more than that of the conventional gears.
