Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent heat from being generated in a gear motor as a whole.SOLUTION: A gear motor GM1 in which a motor M1 and a speed reducer G1 are coupled, includes a casing composed of a plurality of first to fifth casing bodies 11 to 15. A sealing member Se for sealing, out of a first to fourth coupling surface 41 to 44 between the first to fifth casing bodies 11 to 15, the third and fourth coupling surfaces 43 and 44 is intervened and arranged to at least one surface (the third and fourth coupling surfaces 43 and 44) which are other than the first and second coupling surfaces 41 and 42 between the casing bodies 11 to 13 of the motor M1. Heat transfer members 50 (and collars 54) made of a material with thermal conductivity higher than that of the sealing member Se are arranged on at least the third coupling surface 43 closest to the motor M1 out of the third and fourth coupling surfaces 43 and 44 on which the sealing member Se is intervened and arranged, and the heat transfer members 50 are brought into contact with both the third and fourth casing bodies 13 and 14 positioned at both side across the third coupling surface 43.
