Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a seizure between bearing members and gear rotors in advance by measuring the temperature of the portions on the opposite side to the eccentric side of the gear rotors at the time of rotation at annular space sections formed between the bearing members and the gear rotors with temperature sensors.
SOLUTION: A gear pump 1 used for a resin kneading/granulating facility is provided with a pair of gear rotors 10 arranged in a housing 9. The housing body 13 of the housing 9 has a resin passage 14 communicated from an intake port 18 to a discharge port 19 in it, and temperature sensors 29 made of a thermocouple are provided on the discharge port 19 side of the housing body 13. The temperature sensors 29 detect the temperature of the portions on the opposite side to the eccentric side of the gear rotors 10 at the time of rotation at annular space sections 26 formed between bearing members 12 and the gear rotors 10. A seizure tendency between the bearing members 12 and the gear rotors 10 can be detected at an early stage.
