Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump for a fused resin, by which resin deterioration to be generated caused by insufficient cooling attendant on enlargement of a machine, high-speed rotation of a gear rotor by the high discharge amount, and high viscosity of the fused resin can be solved, and a lubricating fused resin can be prevented from being so lidified in start-up of the machine.
SOLUTION: A pair of gear rotors 3 in which gear parts 10 and shaft parts 11 are integrally formed are rotatably arranged in a pump housing 2 provided with a suction port and a discharge port in the meshed state, recovering passages 14 for guiding resin leaking from clearances 13 between the pump housing 2 and respective gear rotors 3 to the suction port are formed, and cooling and heating holes are formed in respective gear rotors 3 so as to face the range in which the clearances 13 are formed. Cooling and heating medium passages 17 through which pipes 16 for supplying cooling and heating medium into the holes 15a are inserted are provided, and cooling and heating medium passages 18 are provided on respective bearing bodies 5 supporting respective gear rotors 3.
