Abstract:
To provide a gear pump that can restrain buckling of a side plate.SOLUTION: A gear pump (1) comprises a pair of gears (10), a casing (20) comprising an internal space (24) housing the pair of gears (10), a first side plate (30) arranged on one side in an axial direction of the pair of gears (10), and a first gasket (50) sandwiched between the casing (20) and the first side plate (30). A thickness (t11) of the first side plate (30) in at least a portion of a boundary (35) on the side of a low-pressure space (24b) in a region in which the first side plate (30) and the first gasket (50) are in contact with each other is thinner than a thickness (t12) of the first side plate (30) in a high-pressure space (24a).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
