To provide a gear pump type extruder capable of decreasing a thrust force caused by a rubber pressure acting to a pinion, and increasing the amount of discharge of a rubber by preventing the rubber from flowing reversely from the discharging side of the rubber to the suction side.
In a gear pump of a rubber extruder, a rubber inlet opening is arranged so as to directly communicate with teeth 21, 22A and 22B of respective pinions on the side where the teeth of driven pinions 12A and 12B and the teeth of a driving pinion 11 are separated from each other, and a rubber outlet opening is arranged so as to directly communicate with teeth 31, 32A and 32B of the individual pinions on the side where the teeth of the driven pinions 12A and 12B and the teeth of the driving pinion 11 approach each other. Projections of individual rubber inlet openings 13A and 13B and the rubber outlet opening 14A to a plane orthogonal to the axial line of the driving pinion 11 do not overlap either one of projections of circumscribed circles of the driven pinions 12A and 12B and the driving pinions 11.
