Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive high efficiency and compactness, by forming an oil pump with a pump case fixed to an input shaft, a first pump gear fixed to an output shaft and a second pump gear provided within the pump case rotatably. CONSTITUTION:As for a pump case 2 which was fitted over the tip of a crankshaft 1 through a spline, an oil sump 8 is formed on one side of the same and a pump chamber 9 is formed on the other other side. A first pump gear 11 in the inside of the pump chamber 9 is formed on the other side. A first pump gear 11 in the inside of the pump chamber 9 is fixed to a cylindrical output shaft 12. A shaft 22 running parallel with the crankshaft 1 is supported by the pump case 2 and a cover 7 and a second pump gear 10 fixed to the shaft 22 is engaged with the first pump gear 11, through which an oil pump is formed. An inlet 23 of the pump chamber 9 is connected with the oil sump 8, and an outlet 24 is connected with the oil sump 8 through a centrifugal valve 25 for prevention and control of dragging and a centrifugal valve 26 for control of output torque.
