To provide a gear pump achieving a durability enhancement and reduction of manufacturing cost by parts commonalization, which includes a drive gear rotating shaft and a driven gear rotating shaft supported at portions each having a different outside diameter from the other.
The gear pump 1 includes two gear pairs of gear pair 8 and gear pair 11. A drive gear 6 of the gear pair 8 and a drive gear 9 of the gear pair 11 are connected to a single drive gear rotating shaft 12 by a spline fitting. On the drive gear rotating shaft 12, a large-diameter portion 12c, and a first small-diameter portion 12d and a second small-diameter portion 12e which have smaller diameters than that of the large-diameter portion 12c, are formed. The first small-diameter portion 12d is supported by a slide bearing 14b via a collar 15 having the same outer diameter as that of the large-diameter portion 12c. The second small-diameter portion 12e is also supported by a slide bearing 14c via a collar 16 having the same outer diameter as that of the large-diameter portion 12c. The slide bearings 14a to 14c are all the same parts.
