Abstract:
The toothed wheel pump has a housing (9) with two toothed wheels (1). The toothed wheels engage into one another. A feed medium (M) is fed from a suction side (2) to a pressure side (3), and a return duct (4) is provided which leads feed medium which flows outward through the plain bearing back to the suction side. A valve (5) with a stationary part and a moveable part is provided. The valve has a setting characteristic which runs, as an approximation, linearly in one region, and the setting characteristic is defined by a pressure across the valve as a function of a setting path in the valve.
