To provide a gear pump capable of suppressing the wear of a fitting portion between a shaft hole of an inner rotor and a drive shaft by an extremely simple structure.
The gear pump comprises: a pump housing 10 having a recess 14; a pump plate 20 which constitutes a rotor assembling space 15 by closing the recess 14 and in which a suction port 21 and a discharge port 25 are formed at the internal end face, respectively; an outer rotor 30 which is rotatably fit into the rotor assembling space 15; the inner rotor 35 having outer teeth 36 engaged with inner teeth 31 of the outer rotor 30; and the drive shaft 50 which penetrates a through hole 12 formed at a bottom wall 13 of the pump housing 10, is fit and inserted into the shaft hole 37 of the inner rotor 35 so as to be capable of transmitting torque, and rotates the inner rotor 35. An escape part 60 for making wear powder generated at the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole 37 of the inner rotor 35 escape is formed between the pump plate 20 and the inner rotor 35.
