Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously and stably operate a gear pump for a long time without wearing a bearing part and the like by a filler by a method wherein a gear shaft is projected through a casing at both sides thereof, and bearings for supporting the gear shaft are separately provided outside the casing.
CONSTITUTION: With the rotation of a gear shaft 13b of a gearing 11 by a drive source, a part of a melting composite resin material charged in a gear pump 1 flows into clearances each formed between gear shafts 2c, 2d, 3c, 3d and cooling jackets 7 provided in through parts of side plates 6 to be cooled and set to serve as a shaft sealing member. The composite resin material does not leak outside the gear pump 1. Bearings 4 each supporting the gear shafts 2c, 2d, 3c, 3d are lubricated only by a lubricant, such as a lubricating oil, without the flow-in of the composite resin material.
