PURPOSE: To make accurate viscosity measurable, by connecting the discharge side of a pressure loss measuring pump to be driven at the same shaft with a suction port of a conveying pump by means of a slender pipe, while installing a pressure detecting pickup at the pressure loss measuring pump side of a slender pipe part.
CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft 27 of a pressure loss measuring pump 25 is connected to a driving shaft 15 of a conveying pump 14 via a connecting shaft 28. A suction passage 30 of the pressure loss measuring pump 25 is connected to a discharge port of the conveying pump 14 while a discharge passage 31 of the pressure loss measuring pump is connected to the suction port, respectively, while a slender pipe part 36 is formed between the discharge passage 31 and the said suction port. And, a pressure detecting pickup 37 is installed between this slender pipe part 36 and the discharge passage 21 of the pressure loss measuring pump 25. Therefore, equipment for installing a pressure loss measuring device is no longer required and, what is more, fluid viscosity is accurately measurable without producing any cavity in the pressure loss measuring pump.
