Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform gear shift control according to driving conditions and changes in road conditions, by setting a deriving means for deriving modification quantity of the control reference value from input variables led from such as the fluctuating conditions of the engine load and input variables composed of such as integrated values of absolute values of transverse acceleration.
CONSTITUTION: Driving conditions are detected by the fist detecting means 22, and changes in road conditions are detected by the second detecting means 23. Modification quantity of the control reference value is derived from the first and the second input variables detected by the first and the second detecting means 22, 23 and membership functions, according to the control rules, by a deriving means 20. Control signals suitable for the desired change gear ratio calculated from the derived results are output from a gear shift control means 21 to a gear shift driving part 12 for performing adequate gear shift control.
