Abstract:
PURPOSE:To widen a gear shifting range, by setting up a bypassing differential gear mechanism, a torque converter and a continuously variable transmission in parallel with a differential gear mechanism, as a bypass motor circuit. CONSTITUTION:A bypassing differential gear mechanism 2, a torque converter 3 and a continuously variable transmission 4 in parallel with a differential gear mechanism as a bypass motor circuit. With this constitution, delivered horsepower capacity is large enough as compared with that of a stepless type or a multistage type and enjoys an extensive gear shifting range and, what is more, it can pliably correspond even to a sudden variation in load, so that continuously variable gear shifting inclusive of reverse rotation is made performable in a simple manner. In addition, when a multistage gear shifting range is used in place of the continuously variable transmission 4, a very large gear shifting range is securable.
