Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly suppress blowing-out of a lubricant to the external of a transmission case regardless of a state of an oil level, and easily securing a breather chamber having an excellent gas-liquid separation performance.SOLUTION: A breather chamber 62 is constituted to be longitudinally extended in a vertical direction so that it is substantially laid along a peripheral wall 82a disposed at a front side when a vehicle travels forward, among peripheral walls 82 configuring a case body 8a. A rib 72 constituting the breather chamber 62 is provided with two cutouts 72b, 72c. The cutout 72b is disposed on a position above an oil level of a lubricant in a static state (state that oil level is not inclined), and the cutout 72c is disposed on a position above the oil level of the lubricant in both of the static state and a dynamic state (state that oil level is inclined). Thus breathing can be surely performed regardless of the state of the oil level of the lubricant, and excellent gas-liquid separation performance can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
