To realize a geared motor which enables stopping and holding at a plurality of stages simply and inexpensively by switching resistance values as viewed from an external terminal according to the angle of the rotation of an output shaft without containing relays and clutch elements in a type for driving the clutch devices of washing machines.
The output shaft 2 for transmitting the rotating forces of a motor 4 is regulated to the one-way rotation with a one-way clutch 9 through reduction gears 8a and 8b, a plurality of contact points 11 are operated with a cam 10 turning being linked to the output shaft 2, and a resistor 12 is connected to a terminal of the contact points 11 while the external terminal is connected. The resistance values as viewed from the external terminal are switched according to the angle of the rotation of the output shaft 2.
