Abstract:
To provide a geared motor that can suppress deformation of a housing if the housing, which includes a case and a cover, is receiving force.SOLUTION: A geared motor 5 includes: a motor 40; a gear wheel row 32 for conveying driving force from the motor 40 to an output gear 31; and a housing 15 containing the motor 40 and the gear wheel row 32. The housing 15 has a case 21 and a cover 22 on the case 21. The case 21 has a case-side contact surface 112 facing the cover 22, and the cover 22 has a cover-side contact surface 125 in contact with the case-side contact surface 112. The case-side contact surface 112 has a recess 114 and the cover-side contact surface 125 has a protrusion 127, the recess 114 and the protrusion 127 fitting together when the cover 22 is put on the case 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
