Abstract:

To provide a geared motor having a new structure, capable of restraining a manufacturing cost, stably engaging/disengaging a clutch means disposed on a driving force communicating path to an output member of a motor for load driving, thereby performing an operational control of an object to be operated.

In this geared motor, a linkage coil spring 114 capable of linking a rotation driving shaft 112 to a flywheel 116 is wound on a linkage rotating shaft 118 disposed on the same central axis of the rotation driving shaft 112 and the flywheel 116, so as to drive the rotation of the linking rotational shaft 118 through the linkage coil spring 114. A friction gear 24 fitted slidably for the linkage coil spring 114 sets a switching member 22 of engaging and disengaging the clutch means 20 at such a position as to perform driving under the conditions, where a clutch is engaged against the energizing force thereof. When the rotation driving shaft 112 stops, the linkage rotating shaft 118 becomes independent of the rotation driving shaft 112, based on the inertia rotation of the flywheel 116, and the switching member 22 is operated so as to return to a condition with the clutch disengaged.
