In a geared motor 1 which includes: a DC motor 2; an output gear Gf; and an angle sensor 150 detecting a rotating angle of the output gear Gf, and is reciprocated between an opening position and a closing position by rotating a toilet seat connected to the output gear Gf, the DC motor 2, the output gear Gf and gears G2-G4 of the reduction gear train 5 are disposed in a housing 7 constituted by lapping a lower housing 70 and an upper housing 30 in a direction of an axis Xa of the output gear Gf, and a rotatable range of the output gear Gf is regulated by bringing a stopper portion 257 disposed on the output gear Gf into contact with a fixing-side regulating portion disposed on the lower housing 70, so that the stopper portion 257 is kept into contact with the fixing-side regulating portion when the toilet seat reaches a prescribed position at a closing position side.
