Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission which can stabilize agitation resistance.SOLUTION: A rotation radius adjusting device 4 has a rotating part 6. A receiving hole 6a is protrusively formed at the rotating part 6 while being eccentric from the center, the gravity center of the rotating part 6 is positioned at or approximates the center of the receiving hole 6a, and a gravity center adjusting part 21 is arranged which hangs out to a direction opposite to an eccentric direction with respect to the receiving hole 6a of the rotating part 6. The gravity center adjusting part 21 coincides with the center of the receiving hole 6a at its center, and also substantially coincides with a shape in the vicinity of an arc of a fan-shape part whose center angle θ satisfies the following formula. 2arccos((r-x)/r)≤θ. Here, r is a radius of the fan shape part, and x is a distance from an oil level of an oil basin in a maximum oil-immersed state up to the arc of the fan shape part.
