Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel composition suitable for a gel electrolyte used for battery.
SOLUTION: The gel composition is comprised of a polymer containing a solvent. The polymer is a crosslinkable copolymer obtained by the addition reaction of a hydrogenalkylpolysiloxane having two or more hydrosilyl groups in a molecule with a compound represented by formula (A) and a compound represented by formula (B). Formula (A): CH2=CR1-R2-Z1, wherein R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, a 1-18C alkyl group, or a 6-20C aryl group; R2 denotes a 1-18C alkylene group, a 6-20C arylene group, a 7-21C arylalkylene group, or a direct bond; and Z1 denotes a monovalent group derived from polyoxyalkylene. Formula (B): (CH2=CR1-R2-)2Z2, wherein R1 and R2 each denotes the same as in formula (A) and Z2 denotes a bivalent group derived from polyoxyalkylene.
