Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide gel constituted by an interaction between polyvinyl- pyrrolidone and chitosan.
CONSTITUTION: This gel is a dermatrogycal compatible composition containing hydrophilic gel including a mixture of neutralized chitosan and hydrophilic poly-(N-vinyl lactam) having at least 1.4 mol equivalent of an acid radical which can use at least K value of 60 and a ring cleavage pyrrolidone radical. Further, in manufacturing the gel, high cost equipment and process are not required.
