To provide gel-containing food and drink including flavor peculiar to gel.

The gel-containing food and drink is provided with a first gel which contains insoluble minute substance derived from plant and has a prescribed shape, and a second component which contains the first gel. A gelling agent used for the first gel comprises at least one of glucomannan, gelatine, agar, carrageenan, xanthan gum, guar gum, tara gum, locust bean gum, gellan gum, pectin and alginate. The second component comprises a liquid component or a gel component.
