Abstract:
To provide a gel cosmetic having excellent takability with finger and application feeling.
The method for producing a gel cosmetic comprises a step of dissolving a colorant and a native gellan gum in a solvent under heating to obtain a cosmetic composition, a step of heating and stirring the composition, and a step of cooling the resultant hot composition, while stirring and defoaming under reduced pressure. The invention further provides a cosmetic produced by the production method. A proper amount of the gel cosmetic can be taken with a finger and the cosmetic can be spread on the skin, while keeping a proper application amount.
