Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine harvester capable of smoothly carrying out a reaping work by a low crop unit (a reaping and conveying device for soybean, or the like).
SOLUTION: The low crop unit 20 is composed of a right and left pair of conveying belts 21, 21 and a reaping blade 22 as one block. The front part of the low crop unit 20 is installed as liftably to an auger frame 8, a rotating stand 54 is pivoted on the low crop 20 side and a wheel 55 is installed on the lower part of the rotating stand 54 and a rod of a double acting cylinder 56 is installed on the upper part of the rotating stand 54. The low crop unit is set to control reaping height by extending the double acting cylinder 56 to raise the starting point of the right and left pair of the conveyer belts 21, 21 when the sensor 57 plunges into soil and shrinking the double acting cylinder 56 to lower the starting points of the right and left pair of conveyer belts 21, 21 by downsizing the cylinder 56 when the sensor 57 leaves from the soil.
