Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy housing of a multi row rice transplanter in a barn, etc., having a limited housing space.
SOLUTION: In this multi row rice transplanter, a seedling-planting apparatus linked to the back of a traveling machine body 1 through a vertically movable link mechanism 3 has a bipartition structure devisable into the left seedling- planting unit 4A and the right seedling-planting unit 4B. The posture of the rice transplanter is changeable between the working posture, in which both the seedling-planting units are linked in a lateral row each facing forward, and the housing posture, in which both the seedling-planting units face to each other, side by side, allowing the outside ends of the planting units in the working posture to situate at the front side of the machine body, by means of the swinging operation around each of the longitudinal shafts of the seedling planting- units. Linking units 28 for vertically linking each of the right and left planting units to them at plural points in the middle of posture-changing operation of the seedling-planting apparatus are placed so that an intermediate posture between the working posture and the housing posture of the seedling-planting apparatus is fixed in a manner unchangeable of the posture.
