PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of performing reduction in costs and torque control with high accuracy in a generated torque control device for car engine.
CONSTITUTION: In performing control of torque generated in an engine, it has been noted that the width of injection pulse applied to an injector 15 is roughly proportional to torque value generated in the engine. After a given target torque is converted by a target injection pulse width conversion unit 13b, the difference between the injection pulse width from an injection pulse width control unit 13c and a target injection pulse width converted by the target injection pulse width conversion unit 13d is determined by a pulse width calculating unit 13d. Thus, the opening of a sub-throttle 7 is controlled by a motor driving control unit 13a so that the difference of the injection pulse width from the target injection pulse width, which is determined by the pulse width calculating unit 13d, becomes smaller.
