Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for performing a partial gasification and generating power with coal in which a high efficient system reducing a heat bypassing amount less than the prior art system under a combined cycle with coal (fine powdered coal) being applied as fuel and the gas turbine and the steam turbine being combined to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A part of fed coal is changed into gas through a partial coal gasification furnace 40, and the charcoal (residual coal) not gasified is completely ignited under a condition of excessive air and no cooling state through a pressurized circulation fluidized bed type incinerator (charcoal combustion furnace) 4. After dusts are removed from gas generated at the partial gasification furnace 40, the coal is separately ignited within the charcoal combustion furnace combustion gas where gas is already removed and then the gas turbine 20 is driven with this combustion gas.
