PURPOSE: To secure such a generating set that generates power in making full use of the wind force produced in time of train running, by placing a vertical wind-guide wall paralleling a track on the track side of a train, while setting up a vertical axis, multiblade type windmill on this wind-guide wall.
CONSTITUTION: A wind-guide wall 2 standing erect parallelly and vertically is installed in a track 1, while a generator is set up at the lower end of a vertical axis, multiblade type windmill 3 which is built in the wind-guide wall 2 being erected as interposing the windmill 3 in between. The windmill 3 is covered with a baffle plate 9 except an air flow port 11 which consists of an inner air flow port 11a and an outer air flow port 11b. When a train passes by the windmill 3, empty space between the train and the wind-guide wall 2 is decompressed and therefore drawn in from the outer air flow port 11b as shown in an arrow 7. At this time, the windmill 3 rotates counterclockwise. In addition, air that clings to the train whirls as it collides with a blade 3a at the inner air flow port 11a.
