PURPOSE: To provide watt consumption for a cement plant in a slef-sustaining manner, by installing a conveyor which turns round on limestone in vertical directions, while using a system generating power with a rotor of a generator rotated by means of turning force of a conveyor turning wheel.
CONSTITUTION: A limestone mine 1 is excavated in terraced form, while a chain conveyor 2 consists of each of turning wheels 4, 5 and an endless chain 6. A bucket 7 is attached to this endless chain 6, and a generator 8 is set up in close proximity to the turning wheel 5. With rotation in the conveyor 2, the turning wheel 5 rotates together whereby a rotating shaft 8a of the generator 8 coupled with its rotating shaft 5a via an endless belt 9 is also rotated, so that a built-in rotor of the generator 8 rotates in the wake of rotation in the rotating shaft 8a, thus power generation takes place.
