Abstract:
PURPOSE:To develop the random number having desired distribution of caused probability, by providing the function converter outputting the function value based on the desired distribution function through taking random number as input variation value. CONSTITUTION:The function f is inputted to the function converter 4, which performs function conversion in random number X. The function fx of the random number X function-converted via the function generator 4 is inputted to the comparator 5, where the comparison of magnitude with the random number Y is made. The discriminated output of the comparator 5 is fed to the selection circuit 6 consisting of the gate circuit as control signal. This selection circuit 6 selectively outputs the random number X, only when the relation of fx>=Y is present between fx and the random number Y. Thus, the random number row of the random number X having the probability distribution of occurrence based on the function f is outputted.
