To highly efficiently generate power while a power generation device generating power by electromagnetic induction is miniaturized.
The power generation device is provided with a permanent magnet 14, yokes 12 and 13 which are magnetically connected to the permanent magnet 14 and form a magnetic path and coils 11A and 11B installed in the yokes 12 and 13. The yokes are separated into the fixed yoke 12 and the movable yoke 13. The movable yoke 13 is relatively reciprocated to the fixed yoke 12 in a uniaxial direction (X1, X2 direction). Thus, a magnetic flux change is caused in magnetic flux flowing between the yokes 12 and 13 by bringing the yokes 12 and 13 into contact with each other and by dividing them. Then, induced electromotive force is caused in the coils 11A and 11B by the magnetic flux change.
