Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the measuring accuracy of geological surveying by discharging the excavated waste to the ground by means of air lift at the time of excavation, and by interposing a filter to the water passing part.
SOLUTION: Before starting the measurement, when a downhaul drill 3 whose inside is hollow and whose side wall is provided with a water passing part through which water can be passed into its inside is installed in a measuring depth, the air forcibly fed through a boring rod 10 is jetted outwardly toward the side through the end part of the downhaul drill 2, so that it is propelled while removing the excavated waste such as earth and sand around the downhaul drill 2 toward the ground along the casing 1. After installation of the downhaul drill 2, when a hydraulic pressure is recovered inside the casing 1, a screen filter is interposed in the water passing part of the dowuhaul drill 2. Thereby, the excavating work efficiency by means of the downhaul drill can be enhanced, and clogging can be eliminated, and further the water passability between testing intervals can be improved for greatly inhancing the measuring accuracy.
